Dogs are not allowed in the gardens. This is to protect our own pets and wildlife.
What To Wear
We recommend you wear sports or hiking shoes as part of the garden is on rocky terrain. We do have umbrellas available for the rainy days.
Sports & BBQs
Scar House Garden is a private garden, and we do not have any grass areas in the garden that are suitable for sports, picnics or BBQs.

Scar House Gardens in Wexford offers a wonderfully immersive experience, with over twenty uniquely themed garden spaces to wander through, each blending creative landscaping, art, and planting in unexpected ways.
Visitors can expect everything from a tranquil Zen-inspired corner with a handcrafted Torii gate to a wildlife pond, a raised bed kitchen garden, a Mediterranean space alive with native bees, and even a shepherd’s hut tucked into a willow tree garden.
The gardens are constantly evolving, shaped by the hands-on work of Nuala and Paul, who welcome visitors to chat, learn, and gather inspiration from this living, ever-changing oasis. Don't forget to visit the Made at Scar House market, it's next to the garden barn.
